Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Masai Mara

Our Safari representative will pick you up from hotel/airport then depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, with a short rest stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at Sarova camp in time for lunch followed by check in and rest. Thereafter, head for an evening game drive up to 1830hrs in good time for big cats’ action, witness great heard of antelopes, evening spot of savannah sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2

Masai Mara

After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying packed picnic lunch: The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the “Big 5” during an early morning game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under safari vehicles and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these include 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcon, 6 species of vulture, 8 species of stork, 4 of bustard, and 9 species of sunbird. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3

Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for a full day game drive with an optional activity for balloon safari which is a thrilling experience as you get to view the wildlife and the beautiful scenery of the park. Enjoy a full day in the park looking for animals and taking pictures. Have a picnic lunch, then finish up your game drive before going back to your camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 4

Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast and check out, start your journey back to Nairobi with an option of visiting the Masai village to learn more about the Masai culture. Thereafter, depart to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch. Drop off at the hotel/airport.
