5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Naivasha Safari

Itinerary

1. Day

   Day 1

   Nairobi – Masai Mara Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning and depart for Masai Mara. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and spectacular scenery before continuing to the Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, check in and relax before heading out for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

2. Day

   Day 2

   Masai Mara After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Explore the reserve in search of the Big Five, including its famous black-maned lions, as well as cheetahs and an extraordinary variety of birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

3. Day

   Day 3

   Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru After breakfast, you may take an optional visit to a Maasai village to experience local culture and traditional dance. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Later, enjoy an evening game drive in this renowned birdwatching destination, known for flamingos and more than 400 bird species. Wildlife sightings may include Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhinos, lions, buffalo, leopards and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

4. Day

   Day 4

   Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha After breakfast and checkout, enjoy a morning game drive before departing for Lake Naivasha. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and check in. Later, visit Hell’s Gate National Park to enjoy its dramatic scenery and free-roaming wildlife. You can choose to hire a bicycle or take a guided walk through the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

5. Day

   Day 5

   Lake Naivasha – Nairobi After breakfast and checkout, you can enjoy an optional boat ride and Crescent Island walk before departing for Nairobi. Stop for lunch along the way, then continue to Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel, preferred location or the airport.
